Creative February 2023 -- Week 1
Welcome to the Creative February, 2023 Project! For those unfamiliar with this project, during the month of February I join in spirit with a collection of other artists to focus on creativity throughout the month of February. I discussed the theory and approach of it in a recent blog post. In essence, for me, it’s an effort to produce one new photograph each day during the course of February. For me, each of these photographs is an image of nature in monochrome limited to the 1:1 aspect ratio. I discussed that rationale in recent blog post as well, if you are interested.
Below please find the images which compromise week one of my adventures through the Adirondack wilderness for this project. I have tried to include commentary on each of them. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to drop them on the bottom and I will get right to you! Comments are also welcome!
