On March 19, 2018 "Sudan", the last-remaining male White Northern rhinoceros died due to complications of age. Hunted nearly to extinction, only two females remain. Sudan’s daughter Najin, and his granddaughter Fatu as well as other threatened African animals receive constant care and attention at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in central Kenya.
“Animal Abstracts” is a collection of over a dozen images of threatened and endangered species from my travels designed to help raise awareness for conservation and support Ol Pejeta.
30% of the proceeds from all Animal Abstract purchases are donated to Ol Pejeta Conservancy to support their ongoing conservation efforts.

Animal Abstracts Collection
Animal Abstracts can be customized for a unique presentation! You can purchase them as ready-to-hang collages on high definition metal or as traditional paper prints in a variety of sizes.
As metal prints you choose which three, six or nine images you want. They arrive to you ready to hang including hangers and a handy stencil to align them properly on your wall!
If you prefer paper prints all of the images can be ordered in high-definition on archival fine art paper with a lustre finish in a variety of sizes. These unframed and unmounted prints can be ordered as 5"x5" through 12"x12". If you would prefer a larger size just ask, we can special order yours!
Regardless of which format you choose, these look great in an office, bedroom, kids room, play room or waiting room and they support a great cause.
Your choice of any of the Animal Abstracts images printed on fine art paper to your choice of five sizes. Each image is printed on high definition archival fine art paper with a lustre finish and a 1/2” white border. Images are one inch smaller than the print size you order. A 12”x12” has an 11”x11” image with a 1/2” border all around. Mounting and framing is not included.

Fifteen of my favorite animal abstract images giclee printed onto archival museum grade paper. Each page is 8” x 8” with a 1/2” border and is hand-inspected and signed by James Rodewald. These archival sets are beautiful, unique additions to any library and will offer years of enjoyment!
Artist proof editions. Two black and white images of a female black rhinoceros printed on Kodak Endura metallic paper. Each image is signed, dated and numbered on the matt and picture. Each is mounted to an archival matt, framed and ready to hang.

Can I add extra prints or duplicates to my collage order?
Yes, you can. To do so please place your order of 3, 6 or 9 collage prints and then notify me by email of your special request. Sorry, the minimum order size for pre-hung metal collage prints is three (3).
How is tax handled?
Customers in the state of New York will owe state sales tax at checkout. If you represent a nonprofit organization please feel free to contact me by email and we can process your order tax free. Purchase orders are also accepted, but again please contact me by email to arrange that.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Each order is custom made to ensure your art is as perfect as we can get it. Please allow up to two weeks between order placement and receipt of your art. We will notify you when your art ships.
Can you ship outside the United States?
Yes, we will happily ship to more or less anywhere for additional postage fees. Please contact me with your order and I can provide you with a proper estimate.
Will my prints have watermarks on them as shown on the website?
No, the watermarks will be removed. You will enjoy these beautiful prints, they are really special up close! The watermarks help to retain copyrights and redirect web traffic to my sites.
