Adirondack Council

Honored today to be published on the Adirondack Council’s BLOG as a guest writer. Although I am not particularly fond of writing about myself, I am pleased with the way it came out and my explanation of what my personal mission is through photography. Nature’s Sake is not just a business name for me, it embodies what I am trying to do. Using my photographic art as a means to raise awareness for the natural world, raise awareness for the wild places I like to photograph and to help raise some revenue to help support the groups that work to protect these areas.

One can no longer expect to experience wilderness without contributing back to it in some way. Its to fragile and its too threatened here in the United States. Whether contributing back is helping others to experience wilderness in a sustainable way, leaving less trace by picking up any garbage you find along the way or by directly contributing organizations that work to protect wilderness. Any and every effort makes a difference for the common good.

So thank you for all your interest in my work and in my efforts to help support conservation! Get out and explore and reach out in some way to help protect the wild places we all love to enjoy.

Welcome, Australia!

As we approach our first anniversary in business this November we are excited to announce that we have created a new partnership with an excellent photo processing lab in Queensland, Australia. This partnership will allow us to deliver top-quality prints at far more affordable prices. We look forward to offering up many of our prints to the Australian market, especially our ongoing Animal Abstract portfolio to help support Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya.

If you beckon from Australia, welcome! If not, welcome anyway! But if so, check out the new shipping options beginning the week of November 4, 2018.

hola europa!

Willkommen. Benvenuto. Fáilte. Vítejte. Bienvenue. Välkommen. Welkom. Bienvenido. Witamy.

Excited to announce that we are now capable of shipping our print products to customers in the United Kingdom and across Europe! We have partnered with a European-based lab to help keep our shipping expense and carbon footprint as low as possible. Through this partnership we can offer the same high quality prints as our United States and Canadian customers while keeping shipping costs to a minimum. The prints look fantastic and are nearly identical in finish and feel.

Although we cannot offer this service for all of our products, our print and framed products are completely available! Over the coming months we hope to continue this expansion to include customers in Australia, Central and South America and Asia.

In the mean time its a pleasure to offer these services. Certainly if you or anyone you know is interested in prints from our Ol Pejeta benefit project, they are currently available for shipping in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and many countries across Europe.

Best to you,
James Rodewald
